Review for SHIVER By Maggie Stiefvater

Cover ImageSummary: Grace has spent years watching the wolves in the woods behind her house. One yellow-eyed wolf -- her wolf -- watches back. He feels deeply familiar to her, but she doesn't know why. Sam has lived two lives. As a wolf, he keeps the silent company of the girl he loves. And then, for a short time each year, he is human, never daring to talk to Grace . . . until now. For Grace and Sam, love has always been at a distance. But once spoken, it cannot be denied. (Barnes and Noble)

My Review: I'm not going to lie. I only read this book because so many of my reading buddies kept saying how pumped they were for the third in the series, Forever, which is soon to be released. Boy, am I glad that I did though! I don't know why I didn't decide to read it sooner. It has everything that I love about YA books! When I first started reading it, it took a bit to get into. This is probably due to the fact that I was finishing up my last few days of school, but still, once the story got rolling, I could not put the book down! I took it everywhere I went. Not kidding you guys! EVERYWHERE! Sam Roth has officially become one of my favorite book characters! I just fell in love with everything he did, but I do have to admit...I'm a sucker for hot wolves who can sing and play guitar! Grace proved to be a strong heroine too! That's one of the things I look for in my heroines...they shouldn't make the guys do all of the dirty work! If you haven't read this addicting novel yet...go read it! Like now!!! If you have, let me know what YOU thought about it!
